Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Illinois
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred (due to pediatric patient care)
- Med Surg experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients on a Medical-Surgical unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary care teams, and families
- Document patient progress and coordinate appropriate follow-up
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care
