Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, travel contract
• Flexibility required for floating within the regional hospital system
• Orientation: 2 days departmental, New Employee Orientation included

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN licensure
• At least 18 months of recent MedSurg/Tele experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Med/Tele skillset including stroke care, chest tube management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, PIV/NGT starts, drain/tube management, PCA pump proficiency, and medication drip management (cardiac/heparin/blood products/IVF)
• Experience with Epic EMR and Omnicell
• Flexibility to float within regional hospital locations as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-quality, compassionate nursing care to a diverse range of adult medical-surgical/telemetry patients
• Efficiently assess, monitor, and document patient progress
• Collaborate closely with physicians, support staff, and allied health professionals
• Manage complex diagnoses such as stroke, COPD, chest pain, altered mental status, and GI bleeds
• Engage in seamless communication and teamwork in a positive, supportive environment
• Complete NIH stroke assessments and manage challenging clinical scenarios as needed
