Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a medical-surgical (MS) unit
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Solid clinical assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress, respond swiftly to changes in condition, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all facility protocols and regulatory requirements
- Educate patients and caregivers about disease processes and post-discharge care
