This contract position offers flexibility with shifts ranging from 36 to 48 hours per week, ideal for nurses seeking balanced work hours within a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient health records.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license with Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) experience.
- Chemo certification is preferred, enhancing the ability to administer chemotherapy safely.
- Ability to work every other weekend and Easter holiday as required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
