This opportunity seeks a registered nurse with Emergency Department or Neuro ICU experience to provide high-level care at a nationally recognized medical center in Mesa, AZ. The position is a contract role requiring critical skills in fast-paced, trauma-level I environments and familiarity with Cerner EMR systems. Candidates must meet specific professional standards and onboarding requirements to ensure seamless integration into this teaching hospital setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum 2 years of core nursing experience in Emergency Department or Neuro ICU
- Level I trauma and teaching hospital experience required
- Proficient with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Previous travel nurse experience in specified specialties preferred
- Ability to pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to assignment acceptance (maximum two attempts allowed)
- Compliance with facility appearance standards (natural hair colors, no facial piercings)
- Ownership of a personal vehicle for commuting and transportation

Responsibilities Include:

- Mentor nursing students and participate in educational initiatives as part of a teaching hospital
Additional Details:
- Contract assignments are a minimum of 13 weeks
- Weekly orientations available on Mondays (excluding holiday weeks)
- Onboarding documents must be completed by 1pm CST the Wednesday before start date
- Travelers cannot hold concurrent contracts within this healthcare system
- Parking arrangements provided, with shuttle service to the facility as needed
