In this role, youll collaborate with healthcare professionals dedicated to patient-centered care and compassionate outcomes. This travel assignment provides the opportunity to engage with a range of inpatient holds, with an emphasis on Medical-Surgical nursing. You'll gain exposure to best practices and diverse clinical settings, while refining your expertise through working closely with both medical-surgical and emergency department patients.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 am 7:30 pm shifts
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend rotation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (state-appropriate or compact)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) inpatient settings
  • Experience with inpatient hold patients preferred
  • Ability to flex between inpatient and emergency department patient assignments is highly desirable
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Current BLS certification (additional certifications a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for a variety of Medical-Surgical patients, including those in inpatient hold status
  • Flexibly manage a dynamic patient assignment, possibly including ED patients as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Accurately document assessments and interventions
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
