Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 pm 7:30 am
- 36 hours per week
- Every Other Weekend (EOW) rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience; experience with inpatient holds highly preferred
- Confidence in handling diverse patient ratios and varying acuity
- Ability to accept and care for ED patients a strong advantage
- Exceptional critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to med/surg and inpatient hold patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress
- Collaborate professionally with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff
- Safely manage patient transitions, including accepting holdover ED patients as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and best practice sharing
