Job Description

Location: Meriden, Connecticut

Schedule:

  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • Every other week schedule
  • Opportunity to work up to 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care with an emphasis on telemetry monitoring for diverse patient populations
  • Utilize BLS and ACLS certifications to respond efficiently to emergencies and critical situations
  • Apply knowledge of NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) to support neurological assessments when preferred
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and safety
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
  • Prior telemetry experience required to ensure competency in cardiac monitoring
  • NIHSS certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
