This travel role invites experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurses to deliver expert care while collaborating with a talented multidisciplinary team. Qualifications:
- Current RN license (state of assignment or compact)
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience
- Proven background in telemetry; ability to read telemetry strips required
- NIH Stroke Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience using EPIC EMR
- Must be available every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
- Commitment to professional appearance: short, natural nails required; artificial/acrylic nails not permitted
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care on a Med/Surg and telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and allied health professionals
- Maintain meticulous documentation in EPIC
- Adapt to the specific protocols and leadership styles of a renowned Midwest healthcare facility
