Schedule:
- Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Proven background in telemetry, including ability to independently read and interpret tele strips
- NIH Stroke Certification highly preferred
- Proficient with EPIC electronic health records system
- Adherence to facility requirements: No artificial/acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short according to policy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to adult med/surg patients, including those requiring telemetry monitoring
- Vigilantly assess, monitor, and document patients conditions, responding rapidly to any changes
- Safely administer medications, treatments, and therapies in line with best practices and hospital protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and ancillary staff to orchestrate individualized patient care plans
- Champion patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards on each shift
- Play an active role in facilitating admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
