Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)
- Previous medical-surgical nursing experience
- Experience caring for orthopedics, neuro-surgical, or trauma patients preferred
- BLS certification required; additional credentials a plus
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a variety of adult inpatients
- Monitor and assess patient status, updating care plans as needed
- Promote an excellent patient experience through effective pain management, proactive rounding, and bedside hand-off
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and prioritize zero-harm
