As a traveler in this Med-Surg unit, youll collaborate with a dedicated team in a dynamic, 45-bed environment that includes 28 telemetry beds. The facilitys innovative use of virtual nurse assistance throughout the hospital provides exposure to the latest patient care technologies, allowing you to enhance your clinical knowledge and adapt new approaches to modern medicine. Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating weekends (every other weekend)
- Rotating holidays (every other holiday)
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, with multistate privileges or ability to obtain Ohio licensure
- Prior experience in Med-Surg preferred
- Comfortable with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging 1:41:6
- Telemetry experience beneficial
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Adaptable and collaborative work style with a commitment to patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care on a 45-bed Med-Surg unit
- Monitor and assess patients, including those requiring telemetry
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize virtual nurse assistance technology
- Educate patients and families, supporting continuity of care
- Maintain high standards of safety and documentation
