Contract Details:
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36
- Schedule: 12-hour days, FridaySundayevery weekend (5:30a start)
- Location: Medical/Surgical, 6th floor (primary), with potential floating to associated facilities within a 60-mile radius
Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin RN license
- AHA BLS and NIHSS certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a registered nurse
- 2+ years recent Med/Surg experience
- At least one prior travel assignment
- Recent (within 2 years) EPIC charting experiencerequired
- Strong background in neuro/ortho trauma
- Experience with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, post-op neuro & ortho trauma care (fusions, backs/spines)
- Resilient, adaptable, collaborative, and sociable
- Able to wear black scrubs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
- Manage trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho cases, with a 1:5 RN-patient ratio (days)
- Float to related units when needed within your skillset
- Participate in a holiday rotation as required
