A registered nurse with med-surg experience is needed for a contract opportunity in Manchester, NH. This role offers the chance to provide patient-centered care within a 29-bed unit equipped for advanced monitoring and treatment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients using PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry monitoring.
  • Participate actively in bedside care conferences and safety rounding to promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to documentation protocols utilizing the Meditech Expanse system.
  • Collaborate with LNA support staff; note this unit does not have a secretary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the clean, no color-scrub dress code.
  • Float within unit guidelines as needed, supporting flexible patient care coverage.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license with at least one year of acute care experience.
  • Proficiency in dysrhythmia recognition and management.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Ability to work every other weekend with adaptable scheduling.
  • Comfortable with technology and equipment specific to med-surg telemetry units.
