An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a medical-surgical setting on a day shift contract basis. This position requires adaptability to float between units and participate in on-call rotations. The schedule features 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, ideal for professionals seeking consistency while making a positive impact.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical environment
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Must be comfortable floating to various units as needed and fulfilling call responsibilities

Schedule and Commitment:

• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Day shifts: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
• Floating and on-call duties required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in adherence with established nursing protocols and standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective treatment plans
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, treatments, and medication regimens
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, utilizing sound clinical judgment
