Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing duties within the assigned unit, adhering to established scope of practice.

• Implement nursing interventions and patient care procedures consistently while modifying care plans as patient status evolves.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation to facilitate seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
• Promote patient and staff safety by identifying, reporting, and mitigating hazards.
• Engage in effective communication, including confidential discussions, to resolve issues promptly.
• Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Participate actively within the critical care team for ICU-lite patients and collaborate with hospitalists managing advanced care cases.
• Integrate patient and family communication strategies such as hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, and the use of whiteboards.
