Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to patient-centered care
• Proficient in IVs, wound care, medication administration, and patient monitoring
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, carry out physician orders, and create tailored care plans
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes promptly to providers
• Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control standards and safety guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff for coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions
