Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS) setting
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to patient-centered care
- Proficient in IVs, wound care, medication administration, and patient monitoring
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, carry out physician orders, and create tailored care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes promptly to providers
- Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Educate patients and their families about conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Maintain infection control standards and safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff for coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions
