The hospital features the latest in patient care, including EPIC electronic health records, advanced monitoring equipment, and a team supported by 24/7 hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapy. Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts: 7A7P or 7P7A
- Weekend rotation: 5-6 shifts every 6 weeks
- No on-call requirements
- Holiday coverage: 1 shift for each major holiday
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years recent MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
- Active RN license, BLS required
- Must successfully complete EKG competency
- ACLS and national medical-surgical or nephrology certification preferred
- Confident in IV starts, wound care, telemetry interpretation, trach and chest tube management
- Strong team player with commitment to quality care in a trauma setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive RN care for orthopedic, trauma, and chronic medical patients
- Assess, monitor, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Perform medication administration, discharge planning, education, and cardiac monitoring
- Float to adult MedSurg/Tele units as needed
- Oversee CNA/Unit Secretary support during shifts
