This opportunity places you within a 35-bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit, exposing you to a diverse population of orthopedic, trauma, and chronic disease patients. Youll work alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team, gaining invaluable experience with advanced procedures, state-of-the-art technology, and a fast-paced, collaborative workflow. Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
• Weekend rotation: 5-6 shifts out of 12 on each 6-week schedule
• No on-call requirement
• Holiday rotation expected (one major winter holiday and Thanksgiving)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• BLS certification (required)
• Basic Cardiac Rhythm required (must pass EKG exam)
• ACLS and national certification preferred (medical-surgical or nephrology)
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, post-op care, IV/PICC skills, trauma assessments, and discharge planning
• EMR proficiency (EPIC preferred); ability to adapt to advanced monitoring and medication administration equipment

Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive care for acute and trauma patients (fractures, post-ops, chronic illness management)
• IV insertion, wound care, telemetry interpretation, and central line management
• Patient education, care coordination, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
