A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled RN with Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience to provide exceptional patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Designation teaching hospital. This travel position is based in Macon, GA, allowing you to gain valuable experience across multiple med/surg units while working in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult inpatients across med/surg telemetry units (20-36 beds per unit)
- Manage cardiac drips including insulin, heparin, and those titrated to heart rate
- Perform tracheostomy care, chest tube management, peripheral IV starts, and glucometer testing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNAs, charge nurses, and resource nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float across all med/surg telemetry units based on staffing needs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN licensure with minimum 2 years Med/Surg and telemetry experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (travelers must pass EKG competency exam)
- Proficiency with cardiac drips and critical care equipment
- Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing is a plus
- Able to adapt to a busy, team-oriented environment
Work Environment & Support:
- EPIC EMR system with Alaris IV pumps and Philips monitoring equipment
- Support from CNAs for routine care, unit secretaries, phlebotomy by lab technicians, PICC team assistance available
- 24/7 availability of respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists
- Scrub colors signify roles: Navy for RN, Ceil Blue for LPN
