Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and alternate holidays required
Qualifications:
- Current MA RN license
- BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Three years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
- Proficiency with telemetry and Meditech documentation systems
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Ability to pass a Telemetry competency test on the first day of orientation
- Compliance with 2024/2025 Flu vaccination prior to start
Preferred Skills:
- Comfortable with occasional floating to similar units as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills and clinical judgment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to patient needs
- Accurately document in Meditech and adhere to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapy teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain readiness to support various units within your competency scope
