Schedule:
- Nights: 7:00 pm 7:30 am
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Proof of current 2024/2025 flu vaccination prior to start
- At least 3 years of recent experience on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Demonstrated expertise with Telemetry; tele competency test administered on first day
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
- Willingness to float to similar units as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Accurately document assessments and interventions using Meditech
- Flexibly adapt to floating assignments within related units to ensure seamless care coverage
