Job Description
Provide skilled nursing care as an RN on a Medical-Surgical unit in a contract role based in Loving, NM. This opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, including floating and on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical interventions as needed.
- Participate in floating assignments and on-call rotations as scheduled.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
