A healthcare facility in Loves Park, IL is seeking a registered nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing (RN-MS) to provide high-quality care on the 10th-floor Medical, Surgical, and Orthopedics unit. This contract opportunity is ideal for nurses with a solid background in clinical care for medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
- Comply with facility policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license with a Master of Science in Nursing.
- Minimum of 2-3 years nursing experience, preferably in medical, surgical, or orthopedic units.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
