This general acute care unit serves a dynamic mix of medical and surgical patients, ensuring a balanced and engaging patient load. Role Expectations:
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established standards.
- Supervise, direct, and mentor various levels of nursing staff.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Coordinate patient care in partnership with interdisciplinary teams.
- Respond effectively to patient needs in a unit not exceeding 65% medical or surgical cases.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license required.
- Minimum one year of relevant medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems is a plus.
