A full-time Registered Nurse role is available in Lawrence, KS, providing inpatient acute care within a hospital setting. This position requires delivering direct nursing care aligned with established protocols, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute care unit
- Coordinate care based on patient and family healthcare needs and priorities
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and legal guidelines when documenting and maintaining patient information
- Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including holiday and weekend coverage as required
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Qualifications and Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Kansas
- Minimum one year of RN experience
- Associate degree or diploma in Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (ACLS and PALS certification may waive BLS requirement based on the department)
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nursing and ACLS certification within six months of hire for specific units such as ED or ICU
