Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical unit
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor, assess, and document changes in patients conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in line with physician orders and best practices
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of current nursing best practices and hospital protocols
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS certification; other certifications may be required
