Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license (unencumbered) valid in Ohio (or eligible for compact licensure)
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in adult medical/surgical nursing
- Prior work with orthopedic, neurosurgical, or trauma patients strongly preferred
- BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) a plus
- Exceptional communication, patient safety advocacy, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to adult inpatients, including those with orthopedic, neurosurgical, and trauma needs
- Prioritize patient safety, implement zero-harm protocols, and contribute to quality improvement
- Engage in proactive rounding, effective pain management, and bedside shift hand-offs to elevate patient experience
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with facility standards
