This med-surg travel nursing opportunity allows you to work in a 45-bed unit (with 28 telemetry beds) and experience both the collaborative team environment and innovative support systems, including hospital-wide Virtual Nurse assistance. You'll gain exposure to diverse workplace dynamics, varied patient populations, and new leadership approachesexpanding your clinical skills and enhancing your resume for future growth.
Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- Every other holiday (EOH)
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Previous med-surg experience preferred
- Telemetry experience a plus
- Ability to adapt to various patient ratios (1:4, 1:5, 1:6)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to med-surg and telemetry patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize Virtual Nurse assistance for effective care coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation and administer medications safely
- Support positive patient and family experiences throughout the stay
