Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Proven experience in a medical-surgical (MS) nursing environment
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working every other weekend and every other holiday as required
• Willingness to participate in charge responsibilities when scheduled
• Committed to upholding best practices in patient safety and quality care

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) coverage required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patients on a medical-surgical unit
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document all relevant patient information accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure individualized care
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
• Step into charge nurse role intermittently as assigned; charge training and shadowing support is available
