By serving in a facility with a total of 32 beds, including 3 step-down beds and 29 med surg/tele beds, you will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of patient care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using advanced systems like Omnicell for medication and Cerner for documentation. This exposure, plus the unique staffing ratios and diverse workplace dynamics, will help you develop new skills, work with varying leadership styles, and further diversify your nursing resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- Call may be required based on census.
- Weekend coverage: Full-time positions require two weekend shifts per pay period; part-time, one weekend shift per pay period.
- Some positions work set schedules, others are flexible.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Experience in Med Surg nursing required; step down and telemetry experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication
- Flexibility with call and weekend shifts
- Familiarity with Omnicell and Cerner (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care on a dynamic med surg/telemetry unit
- Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and 24/7 phlebotomy support
- Accurately document using Cerner EMR
- Respond to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
