As a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical/Telemetry expertise, you will partner with a top-rated healthcare system that caters to a wide range of patient needscardiac, respiratory, neuro, and morein a fast-paced observation unit. Youll collaborate with highly supportive teams, including CNAs, RTs, phlebotomists, IV/VAT teams, hospitalists, and intensivists, ensuring that patient-centered care is always the focus. Floating within the region is part of the role, further broadening your exposure and adaptability.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts designed to ensure balanced patient care (RN ratios 1:5-6, with surges up to 1:8)
  • Orientation: NEO plus 2 days departmental orientation

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg-Tele experience
  • Proficiency in core Med/Tele skills (cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips, IV starts, wound care, blood products)
  • EPIC EMR experience (6+ months)
  • Willingness to float within the regional system, including mid-shift if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diverse patient caseloads with diagnoses ranging from cardiac to neuro
  • Deliver evidence-based care and interventions within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Implement physician orders, monitor cardiac rhythms, provide wound care, and administer IV therapies
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and utilize advanced technology and equipment
