This Medical-Surgical RN travel role is designed for motivated nurses ready to build their clinical expertise. Desired Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- 1+ year of recent Med-Surg experience in an acute care environment
- BLS certification (and ACLS preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and adaptability
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with varied medical-surgical diagnoses
- Administer medications, manage IVs, monitor patient vital signs, and document accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to deliver comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge instructions and ongoing health management
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards at all times
