Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (MS) setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to best practices and facility protocols
- Monitor vital signs and promptly address changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals
- Document observations, interventions, and patient outcomes thoroughly in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Participate in shift handovers and interdisciplinary meetings
