Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions
- Monitor, assess, and intervene according to patient plans of care
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient families
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care and ongoing management
