With responsibilities across diverse patient populationsadults and geriatrics dealing with complex diagnosesyou will build on your expertise while learning from a multidisciplinary care team. Schedule/Hours:

  • 7a-7p or 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call shifts
  • Assigned 75% of holidays (with competitive scheduling flexibility)

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum two years of recent Med/Tele RN experience
  • Proficiency in general Med/Tele skills: stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and chest tube care, PIV and NGT placement, drain and tube management, PCA pumps
  • Familiarity with medication drip management: cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IV fluids
  • Experience with adult/geriatric patients and comfortable with patient ratios up to 1:6-8 based on acuity
  • Excellent teamwork, flexibility, and ability to adapt to float assignments within the region

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide exemplary care for med-surg/telemetry patients, collaborating with CNAs, secretaries, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Monitor and interpret patient telemetry and report findings
  • Manage complex medication administration and perform detailed assessments
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, orientation, and quality improvement activities
