Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts available: Days or nights, with nurse-to-patient ratios generally 1:5-6, surge up to 1:7-8

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (NC or compact state)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum of 18 months Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills; experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone)
  • Proficient with general medical/surgical duties
  • Open to first-time travelers eager to grow

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients with diagnoses such as stroke, seizures, renal conditions, and wound care needs
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor non-titrating cardiac drips
  • Collaborate efficiently with an interdisciplinary unit supported by dedicated phlebotomists, an IV/VAT team, case managers, nurse educators, and 24/7 clinical resources
  • Floats within the region to support other units as needed, with paid travel time between facilities
  • Utilize advanced technology including EPIC, Alaris pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors
