Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- 36-hour workweek
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification (required)
- Strong assessment, organizational, and clinical documentation skills
- Proficiency with patient electronic health records
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate demeanor and positive attitude under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients, monitoring and documenting vital signs and changes in condition
- Administer medication, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to create and carry out individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, recovery steps, and preventive health measures
- Respond promptly to emergencies, using sound judgment and critical thinking skills
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
