Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to diverse adult patients, performing assessments, administering medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and closely monitoring progress. Ideal candidates will have:
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical (MS) nursing setting
- Strong knowledge of best practices in acute patient care
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Outstanding critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional growth
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document observations
- Administer prescribed medications and manages IVs per protocols
- Coordinate and communicate with physicians, other nurses, and care teams
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and comply with facility protocols
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition, ensuring patient safety
- Participate in case conferences and ongoing professional development
