A healthcare opportunity is available in Hendersonville, TN, supporting patients with acute medical and surgical conditions needing observation or inpatient acute care. This role involves caring for young adult through late adult patients in a 23-bed unit, offering comprehensive nursing responsibilities on a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute medical and surgical disease processes.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including LPNs, Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Interns.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to healthcare standards and protocols.
- Assume full responsibility for assigned patients, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
- Successfully perform rhythm tests as required for patient monitoring.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure with a Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing (RN-MS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Proven experience in acute care settings.
- Ability to manage patient loads with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.
- Competency in performing rhythm tests and interpreting results.
