Schedule/Hours
- 7:00 am 7:30 pm, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to Medical-Surgical inpatients, managing complex acuity levels and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrate flexibility and proficiency in caring for ED patients, floating as needed to support patient safety and flow
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond rapidly in urgent situations
- Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure holistic care
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Active RN license and BLS certification (Additional certifications preferred)
- Two years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience in acute care
- Experience with inpatient holds and emergency department patients is highly valued
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
