Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medical-surgical care for inpatients, ensuring high standards for patient safety and outcomes
- Manage inpatient hold situations effectively; preference for candidates comfortable with ED patient care as well
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and monitor individualized care plans
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and care progress
- Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions using sound clinical judgment
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Strong experience in medical-surgical nursing; additional ED background preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Demonstrated adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic clinical environments
- Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills
