An opportunity is available for a registered nurse to provide expert care within a specialized inpatient setting focused on neurology and stroke patients. This contracting role is based in Greensboro, NC, offering a dynamic and challenging clinical environment requiring advanced nursing skills and dedication to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse inpatient population with emphasis on neurological and stroke patients
- Manage telemetry and remote monitoring, ensuring accurate patient data collection and response
- Perform advanced clinical tasks including feeding tube management, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration
- Administer wound care and manage Wound Vac therapy as required
- Adhere to isolation precautions and infection control protocols
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 for high-quality individualized care
- Float between different facilities within the health system as assigned
- Flexibility to work 3x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) and holidays as needed
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably with telemetry and neurological patient care
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record systems
- Current BLS and NIH certifications
- Experience with IV starts, ports access, and central line management
- Competency in telemetry monitoring, both on-unit and remote
- Comfortable with patient care complexity including multiple comorbidities
