As a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry, you will hone your practice alongside a collaborative care team. Embrace professional growth as you adapt to department-specific protocols, integrate with central telemetry monitoring, and navigate a supportive, team-oriented environmentand expand your skillset by floating across Med/Tele units.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
• 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage: one major holiday shift per cycle

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Tele RN experience
• Active RN license and BLS required; ACLS preferred (must pass EKG competency during onboarding)
• 6 months experience with EPIC EMR is essential
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm monitoring, IV management, and drips (insulin, heparin, Cardizem, etc.)
• Strong assessment, time management, and interdisciplinary care skills
• Experience with trach care, chest tube management, and patient education
• Open to first-time travelers and those with medical-surgical certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional inpatient care for acute/chronic diseases, cardiac, and post-surgical patients
• Collaborate with CNAs, secretaries, and discharge/resource teams
• Float as needed to Med/Tele units and support holding patients in the ED
• Lead patient education and discharge planning

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
