With every shift, youll contribute to a fast-paced MedSurg/Telemetry unit handling a diverse patient populationfrom orthopedic and trauma cases to complicated post-op recoveries and chronic illnesses. Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts: 7A7P or 7P7A
• Weekend rotation: 5-6 weekends per 6-week schedule
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call
• Flexible 6-week scheduling cycles

Qualifications:

• Current RN license and BLS required
• At least 2 years of recent MedSurg/Tele experience
• Strong clinical assessment and med-surg skills in trauma settings
• Competency in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Skills in IV/PIV insertion, wound/post-op care, chest tube and trach care
• Must pass BCR/EKG exam during onboarding
• ACLS and Med-Surg or Nephrology certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Direct nursing care for patients with orthopedic trauma, surgical recovery, chronic/acute conditions
• Accurate medication administration, monitoring, and documentation
• Effective discharge planning and patient/family education
• Close collaboration with physicians, case managers, and ancillary departments
• Participation in rapid admissions/discharges and potential floating to adult MedSurg/Tele units
