Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of one year of recent inpatient medical-surgical experience
- Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- BLS certification required; additional certifications (such as ACLS) valued
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable and adaptable with a positive, professional attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes promptly
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and other treatments accurately
- Develop and implement individualized care plans alongside physicians and allied health staff
- Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and thoroughly in electronic medical records
- Support safe, efficient, and compassionate care delivery following established protocols
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
