This medical-surgical/telemetry RN position places you within a well-established, modern facility recognized for its Chest Pain and Stroke Centers. With 207 licensed beds and a patient mix that spans Med/Tele overflow, post-ED, and chronic disease management, youll expand your clinical expertise while collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. By working in a resource team environment and occasionally floating across units and partner facilities, youll gain exposure to a variety of workplace cultures and leadership styles, greatly enhancing your resume and broadening your clinical acumen.

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekend rotation: every other
• No on-call required
• Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays
• Scheduling cycle: every 6 weeks
• Up to 6 approved days off (excluding holidays, with additional time added to contract as needed)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Strong Med/Tele skill set (including cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, advanced drain and tube management)

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care on a Med/Tele unit; patient ratios typically 1:5-6
• Provide high-quality clinical interventions for cardiac, stroke, respiratory, and general med-surg patients
• Competently manage medication drips, cardiac monitoring, and critical documentation via Epic EMR
• Float as needed within designated regional facilities
