Deliver exceptional patient care within a versatile inpatient setting supporting Med/Surg and Telemetry units. This contract nursing role requires flexibility, clinical expertise, and the ability to support multiple departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a 22-bed facility, covering Med/Surg and Telemetry patient populations.
- Float and assist in various departments such as Emergency, ICU, and OB for task assignments when necessary.
- Adhere to staffing ratios: Telemetry 4:1 and Med/Surg 5:1 to ensure quality patient monitoring and care.
- Participate in weekend rotations approximately every other weekend, with adjustments based on business needs.
- Utilize Pyxis medication system and document care accurately using Cerner.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists and hospitalists who provide 24/7 coverage.
- Comply with scheduling guidelines including mandatory call coverage and union contract float requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active RN license with experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, handling multiple patient care areas.
- Comfortable floating to support Emergency, ICU, and OB departments through task-based assignments.
- Strong documentation skills and proficient with electronic medication and charting systems.
- Willingness to work a mixture of scheduling based on self-request and business needs.
Schedule & Type
- Contract position requiring call coverage and weekend rotations.
- Day shift focus Monday-Friday with potential IV nursing team support during weekdays.
