Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic medical-surgical nursing environment. This contract role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who demonstrates expertise in Med-Surg practice, clinical efficiency, and a commitment to high-quality care standards.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Proficient in patient assessment, critical thinking, and care planning
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt to changing situations with professionalism and poise
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care on a Med-Surg unit, following established protocols and individualized care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting significant changes to providers promptly
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Educate patients and families on care and recovery processes
- Work effectively with physicians, case managers, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care
- Ensure a patient-centered approach throughout the healthcare journey
