Step into a rewarding contract position supporting patients with your clinical expertise in medical-surgical care. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient outcomes by leveraging your knowledge and adaptability as a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Competence with electronic medical records and standard MS procedures
- Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed
- Educate patients and families regarding recovery processes and at-home care
- Uphold infection prevention and safety protocols at all times
- Support team members and assist with orientation of new staff as needed
