Job Description
Experienced registered nurses with a background in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) care are needed for an impactful contract opportunity. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing services to adult patients, collaborating closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Your ability to manage diverse clinical situations, maintain accurate documentation, and provide patient-centered education will be highly valued.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive care for patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
- Assessing, evaluating, and monitoring patients conditions and vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Documenting patient information, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records
- Educating patients and families about care plans, procedures, and ongoing wellness
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Demonstrated experience in a Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) setting
- Familiarity with best practices and current protocols in Med Surg nursing
- Excellent assessment, observation, and critical-thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong organizational, charting, and multitasking skills
