As a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you play a vital role in delivering individualized and evidence-based care to a diverse patient population. Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel positionflexible contract assignments with opportunities for overtime

Qualifications/Required Experience:

  • Active Wyoming or multi-state RN license (attach to application)
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association only; must be attached)
  • Previous Med/Surg nursing experience highly preferred
  • Strong time management, adaptability, and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and evaluate patient care plans with the healthcare team
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and document care meticulously
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, discharge, and at-home care requirements
  • Monitor specialized equipment, interpret readings, and take prompt action as needed
  • Provide comprehensive bedside care to a diverse patient group, including surgical cases
  • Manage dressings, IVs, catheters, and assist physicians during examinations and treatments
  • Initiate and implement patient education plans as directed by physicians
  • Respond to emergencies following professional protocols and standards
  • Support discharge planning ensuring safe transitions
