Youll work within a modern, 24-bed MedSurg/Tele unit serving patients with a variety of cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and observation needs. Encounter fast-paced clinical cases that continually grow your expertise in diverse diagnoses, intervention strategies, and care plans. Expand your resume by building proficiency with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Massimo monitors, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists.

Surround yourself with supportive professionals dedicated to best practices and patient-centered care. Gain fresh perspectives through frequent interaction with multiple facilities throughout the region, exposing you to a range of leadership approaches and unit cultures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 6:45am7:15pm or 6:45pm7:15am
  • Weekend rotation: every other
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with minimum 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Proficient with fundamental Med/Tele competencies: cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), IV skills, wound care, blood products administration
  • At least 6 months of EPIC EMR experience
  • Willing to float within regional facilities as needed
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a patient ratio of 1:56 (may surge to 1:78)
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with a spectrum of medical and surgical needs
  • Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, techs, and other support services
  • Adhere to unit and hospital protocols, supporting a positive and collaborative culture
